Desert Thunder Softball currently has seven fastpitch softball teams, comprised of girls ranging in age from 10 to 18 years old. Your support of our efforts to provide these young ladies the opportunity to develop as athletes, as well as responsible, young adults who contribute to the well being of our community. Desert Thunder Softball has made Tucson and Southern Arizona proud! In over 100 National Tournaments, our teamshave consistently finished in the top 20, with several top 10 finishes. In 2012, Desert Thunder captured the ASA 18-Gold National Championship in Oklahoma City – the highest level of amateur fastpitch softball. We are asking you to participate by making a donation to purchase new uniforms, replace old and tired equipment, pay light and field rental fees, pay for tournament entry fees, or to assist a young girl whose family cannot afford monthly softball fees. 

Our organization was established in 2001. From 2007 to present, Desert Thunder is proud of the 172+ players that went on and played softball in college. These young ladies are competitive, athletic and responsible decision makers who are giving back to our community every day. With the influence of softball, discipline and teamwork, our girls continue to be role models in their schools, are in the top 15% of their classes academically and more importantly, our girls understand the value of hard work.
